“I have been in the field of Mental Health beginning 2005. My first role as a part of the Helping Community was Case Manager/Money Management at Conard House. I had 7 or more Residential Clients at the Lyric Hotel in San Francisco Tenderloin. I move on from there doing various other positions (Substance Abuse Counselor, Intake coordinator, Residential Coordinator, Counselor, Group Counselor to name a few). I continue enjoy the experience of seeing people of this Community, here in San Mateo County, grow, learn, express themselves and become more lively through social interaction rather than isolation”

“Recovery is a journey, not a destination. That is why, self-compassion, patience, acceptance and mindfulness are so important and really help me. And I wouldn’t be where I am today (in my wellness, happy!) without peer support and a network of person-centered healthcare professionals. Find yourself and your purpose, hope will shine again from the clouds”
